Unless you are incredibly lucky, there is little chance of making a million dollars online. Sorry, have to break it to you. But you can make a living from the Internet with enough work AND picking a subject you are really interested in.

A good way to make money is finding a niche. For instance, say you are interested in making money from some sort of credit card deal.. are you interested in that? Why not take things in a different direction and do a website devoted to the different types of holograms on credit cards, for example. That might sound random, but doing something nobody has done before buy WHILE on the subject of a good paying keyword can bring unexpected traffic.

Another method making money is using the Google Adwords system and paying for the cheapest keywords but then writing content that generates well paying keywords as the page these adverts go to.

This isn't too easy to do but the end results can be well worth it.

Again the advice to anyone wanting to make a fortune online is to find a topic that is really interesting to you. It just allows you to keep updating as the years go by without
getting bored as easy. it's very difficult to generate interesting amounts of unique text and content for a subject that bores you!

So, to sum up, don't listen to those silly commercials that promise a fast car and luxury house...enabling you to stay home and earn a living. It IS possible, but the work load can often be very hard to get right. It can cost you a lot of money in the long term.

And remember, time is money. When you work on a project your time costs.
